hahaha yes DTD every now and again might help!!!

When you temp you can jsut use a normal thermometer, you take your temp every morning and record your temp. It is important to take your temp before you do anything else, so basically have it on your bedside table and as soon as you open your eyes, take your temp (preferably around the same time everyday). Record this either on a chart or online www.fertilityfriend.com.

Theory is that you should see a slight temp rais just before ovulation, so you could use this along with OPK's etc and it should help you pinpoint ovulation.

Like i said above though it never worked for me lol but it does for most people!
